Refund Policy

General Non-Refundable Policy

  • Purchases made through CIME.lk are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable except under the specific conditions outlined in this Refunds Policy.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to verify any entry restrictions or requirements before any payments
  • The registration fee is strictly non-refundable.
  • Personal Dissatisfaction: Refunds will not be granted due to dissatisfaction with the course or services.


Refund Eligibility

Refund requests will be considered only under the following conditions:

  • Course Registration: Refunds are available only if requested before the start of the intake.
  • Examinations Refunds will be granted if requested at least 5 days before the exam date.
  • If an exam is not attended, 50% of the fee will be refunded only upon submission of a valid medical report.
  • Convocation Fees: If a student informs CIME at least one week before the due date, a refund will be processed.
  • If a student fails to attend after confirming, no refund will be issued.


Refund Process

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as the original transaction. For payments made via credit or debit card, refunds will be processed to the original card. CIME reserves the right to cover administrative and bank processing fees.



Exclusions from Refunds

  • Changes in course schedules, lecturers, or supporting materials.
  • Dissatisfaction with course content, delivery, or assessments.
  • Refunds for minor changes in event timings or locations.

To initiate a refund, students must submit a formal request letter including the correct information:

  • Full Name
  • NIC Number
  • Registration Number
  • Bank Details
  • Email Address (info@cime.lk)
